How the table works
A table we can explain
CleanSpades does not promise that cheating is impossible. We do promise to say what the game controls, where its limits are, and who makes account decisions.
The server runs the game
The server deals the cards, keeps the game state, and checks each play against the rules. Your browser shows the table; it does not get to choose the deal.
Computer seats are labeled
Some tables include computer players. The table identifies those seats instead of presenting them as people.
A person makes account decisions
Software may later surface a fair-play concern. It does not ban a player on its own. A Trust Steward — a person — reviews the available record before a cheating-related account action. Automated detection is not live on this friends-and-family playtest.
The limit is real
Server controls have limits. Unusual play alone is not proof of cheating, so a person reviews the available record before any cheating-related account action.
No cash table
CleanSpades has no cash-out and no real-money wagering. House chips, where shown, are game items—not money or prizes.
