CleanSpades terms

These closed-beta terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They apply only to this invite-only playtest and will be replaced before access opens more broadly.

Who may play

This playtest is intended for invited adults. The app does not verify age or location today. Use CleanSpades only if you may legally agree to these terms where you live.

Invite access

An invite lets an eligible person create a player during this playtest. Invites may expire, run out of uses, or be revoked. An invite is not a password, a property right, or a guarantee that the service will stay available. Do not sell, publicly post, or misuse an invite.

Your player

Give a cell number you are allowed to use. Keep that phone and this browser reasonably secure. Do not share one-time text codes. You are responsible for activity through your player, and we are responsible for operating the service.

Play and conduct

Play fairly. Do not share hidden game information during a hand; use unauthorized assistance at the table; harass other players; interfere with the service; impersonate someone; evade an account restriction; or use CleanSpades for unlawful activity.

Computer players

Some tables include computer players. CleanSpades labels those seats in the game.

No real-money gambling

CleanSpades does not offer cash-out or real-money wagering. House chips are game items with no cash value. They are not prizes.

Playtest service

The playtest may change, pause, show errors, or lose test data. We may limit or end access to protect players or the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular opponent, or that every feature will continue unchanged.

Fair-play review

We may review game and account records for bugs, abuse, or fair-play concerns. Software does not make cheating-related account decisions on its own. Automated detection is not live on this playtest.

Our work

CleanSpades and its original software, text, and artwork belong to Happy Acres LLC or its licensors. These terms do not grant a right to copy, resell, or misuse them.

Ending use

You may stop using CleanSpades at any time. Email support to ask us to delete a player. We may suspend or end access for a terms problem, a security risk, a legal requirement, or the end of the playtest.

Home law

Happy Acres LLC is a North Carolina company. These closed-beta terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. That sentence does not take away protections you already have where you live. This playtest does not include a forced arbitration clause.
